So What? Productions is committed to embracing ambition from young theatre makers: we hope to provide a forum where it is possible to think big and be a part of unique theatrical opportunities. The company provides a launch- pad opportunity for outstanding members of the Sydney University Dramatic Society (SUDS) to showcase their work, take chances their professional careers may never offer and start a crticial dialogue witht the wider theatre community. SUDS, founded in 1889, exists to creating engaging theatre that allows students with an opportunity to work in a semi-professional theatre environment. SUDS provides a fantastic foundation for the creative industry, as shown through alumni such as John Bell, Neil Armfield, Miranda Otto, Bob Ellis and Gough Whitlam.
Just like our acclaimed productions of The Laramie Project, The Laramie Project: Ten Years Later and King Lear, Night Letters embodies the core aims and values of the company.
Night Letters was performed at Sydney’s Seymour Centre in February 2011 as part of the Mardi Gras Festival 2011.
